Grumpy to girth? Get your vet! Out if 37 horses checked into UC Davis vet school over a 12 year period (that's just under 4 per year on average – but how many other girthy horses live in California? 😳) 12 had gastric ulcers, 10 had musculoskeletal issues, 3 had a bad saddle, 1 had tumour of reproductive tract, the remaining 10 had various issues from heart aneurysm, liver abscess to urine infection! #grumpytogirth #getyourvet #horsestranslated #equinebehaviour #equinebehaviourist #equinevet #vet #ulcerawareness #egus #backpain #girthy #girthiness #horse #horseriding #equitation #equestrianissues
