I have two lovely friends who have written books for kids and I thought this was the perfect time to tell you about them.
First of all we have ‘The Pretty Pony Once Said’ by Annika O’Kane and Anthony Corrigan. This beautifully illustrated book is full of information on pony behaviour, all presented in wonderful rhymes. I know if my daughter had been a bit younger she would have just adored this. And what a great way to help children understand a bit more about why their ponies do what they do and what their needs are. Just fantastic.

Next up is Kate Russell’s wonderful book written to help children deal with anxiety and worry. This is a simple, fun story featuring Kate’s therapy ponies and horses. Short, easy to read and with a great message, this is also beautifully illustrated and printed with coloured ink in such a way that it is easier to read for those that struggle with black print on a white background.
